We are a family of three that has stayed at SBBC two years in a row now. We have stayed In Both #7 and #8, and we loved them both. Preferred #8 because it has more windows and feels more open. The accommodations are both clean and comfortable, and feels more like a home than a vacation condo. I have read before that people find this end of seven mile beach is smaller, and I don’t see it. The property is set back far enough that there is plenty of beach, and not only that, the tiered beach gives even the third row back a beach view. The chairs are not stacked one on top of the other like at the hotels, and I have NEVER had to worry About if we would have chairs and umbrellas or not, as they do at the hotels. We often dove in the morning, and didn’t show up to the beach till after lunch, and sat in front row still most days. Marriott is right next door, and we even saw them delivering food to SBBC guests, although we preferred to get out and walk to lunch and make our own drinks.
The staff is knowledgeable and trustworthy. My daughter left her iPhone 5 on the ground when we loaded into the dive van one morning. The housekeeper found it and turned it into the office.
We love Grand Cayman, and won’t stay anywhere else on the island. Ernie and Maggie, be sure to save us a condo next year! We will be back.

We stayed at #33 on the fifth floor for our family vacation. There was plenty of room for all 5 of us. There are lifts to the fifth floor so no problems getting up there. The apartment was modern, bright, clean and had fabulous views of 7-mile beach, better than the web pictures! The snorkeling at South Bay Beach was excellent but I also highly recommend a short drive or bus ride to Smiths Beach. All the Management team were excellent, very friendly and helpful. They provided everything from Tortuga rum cake (yum!) to fresh towels to booking day trips and cabs. We took full advantage of the teams local knowledge. We’ll be back!!
Room Tip: Book on floors 4 to 6 for large balcony’s and great views!

We just returned from South Bay Beach Club and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! We stayed at the Westin our other two visits to Cayman and while the beach there is huge, we loved the SBBC. We stayed with our two daughters in Villa #5 and it was perfect. The website photos are accurate, however it is even more beautiful in person! It was great having a kitchen to prepare breakfast, lunch, etc. and even bought fresh fish one night and grilled it by the pool. There are also restaurants and stores within walking distance. We were worried about the beach being crowded or too small, rocky, etc as we had been warned about places to the south suffering erosion, but it was perfect! They only set up 2 rows of lounge chairs on the bottom level (two level beach) but there was plenty of room for 4 rows. We never had a problem getting lounge chairs or umbrellas. It was clean and not crowded and perfect for snorkeling as well. The Marriott next door was crowded, as was the little area next to SBBC where the Comfort Suites has a little spot. We walked down the beach to the Westin (it seemed crowded) and checked out all the other places we had looked at online and felt great that we had found the perfect place! Maggie and Ernie were great and so was Ena our housekeeper! We can’t wait to go back! Almost want to keep this place a secret!
