Not only are these fun to explore on their own, but they’re teeming with fish and other ocean wildlife. If you’re really trying to see as many animals as possible during your snorkeling excursion, try the coral reef by Cemetery Beach, or take a guided tour of the Kittiwake, as it was sunk specifically to attract ocean life.
2. Swimming
If you’re on a tight budget or just want to relax for your entire vacation, nothing beats swimming in the water at the beach. Best of all, since Seven-Mile Beach doesn’t really get any big waves, this area is much safer for swimmers of all ages and skill levels compared to other parts of the Caribbean.
3. Jet-Skiing
Sometimes, you just need to feel the wind in your hair and the spray of the sea. Renting a jet ski allows you to ramp up the thrill level while staying a safe distance from shore. Whether you’ve ridden these beasts before or it’s your first time, the experience is always a blast.
4. Boating
For some, a jet ski can be a little too intense, so it’s better to take a slower, more stable watercraft instead. Alternatively, you can rent a sailboat or charter a boat to head further into the ocean for a day of fun.
5. Fishing
While the fish off the coast of Seven-Mile Beach are fantastic for snorkeling, as you head further into the ocean, you can start catching them for your next meal. Although there are some spots where you can cast a line from the shore, the best option is to charter a fishing boat and try to capture something a bit more sporting (and photo-friendly).
