Welcome to In Harmony, a luxury, open-concept 4-bedroom private villa on the oceanfront in Bodden Town just 20-25 minutes from the airport.

In Harmony appeals to all travelers looking for a modern home with contemporary decor, resort-like amenities, and enhanced privacy. Gated and fenced, In Harmony enjoys no neighbors to the east, and the property to the west is a private residence that does not rent to tourists. The property is wired with a fiber internet connection perfect for remote working professionals. 

The villa’s private beachfront spans 75-feet with excellent snorkeling within a reef-protected coastline. Perfect for walks and beachcombing, however, we recommend guests wear foot protection (water shoes or fins) both on the beach and in the water.

Guests of all ages will love splashing around in the private freshwater pool. Sunbathers will find plenty of chaise lounges to soak up the Caribbean sun before enjoying a refreshing dip in the pool to cool off. With a passive solar pool heater, guests can also enjoy evening swims under the stars during the cooler winter months.

An outdoor kitchen occupies one corner of the veranda with a propane grill and everything you’ll need for an island cookout. An outdoor dining table with seating for 10 permits our guests to enjoy meals with an oceanfront view. 

Inside, In Harmony blends modern design with spacious gathering spaces that flow seamlessly into the outdoor living areas. An open-concept great room is furnished with a large sectional sofa and a formal dining table with seating for 10. The kitchen flows into the great room and is equipped with modern appliances and breakfast bar seating. Gorgeous ocean views may be enjoyed throughout the first floor.

Three bedrooms—2 oceanfront suites and a bunk room—are located on the lower level while the master king suite occupies the entire upper floor. The 2 lower level suites provide walk-out access to the pool deck while the bunk room is a perfect fit for children. Guests will find plenty of room throughout the villa to spread out and relax in style.

The spacious master king suite will leave you breathless. Comprising the entire second floor, guests will love waking up to elevated ocean views and greeting the morning sun from the private oceanfront balcony.

  • Primary Suite - spans the entire upper-level, king bed, oceanfront views, walk-out access to a private balcony, TV with Apple TV and DVD player, guest safe, ensuite bath with double vanity, jacuzzi bath, and separate walk-in shower.
  • East Suite - lower-level, walk-out access to the pool deck, king bed, ocean views, cable TV, ensuite bathroom with shower/tub combo.
  • West Suite - lower-level, walk-out access to the pool deck, queen bed, ocean views, cable TV, Xbox One gaming console, ensuite bathroom with shower/tub.
  • Bunk Room - lower-level, garden views, twin over queen bunk bed + an extra twin bed, shares an adjacent bathroom with shower/tub combo. 

Centrally located mid-island, In Harmony is easily accessible to Rum Point, Cayman Kai, East End, and all the top attractions Grand Cayman has to offer. The supermarket in Savannah is only 10 minutes west.

Beach Notes

Centrally located, the homes in Bodden Town offer shore diving and snorkeling as well as protected beaches for kayaking. The beaches are mostly sand, but can also have some natural rock formations too. Either way, with the varied marine life we have in the water, you will want to wear foot protection (pool shoes or fins). The beaches here offer great seashell collecting and turtle sightings in summer!

Bodden Town is only 20 minutes town and 15 minutes from 2 large resorts in the east end (Morritt's and The Reef) that offer manicured beaches as well as restaurants, a modern grocery store, liquor store, gift shops, a Subway sandwich shop, and a cafe/pastry shop. These two resorts also offer scuba, snorkel trips, jet skis, wind surfing, kiteboarding, ocean front pools and bar service.  

Heading east, the Lighthouse restaurant is only 5 minutes away. Other casual restaurants are nearby.  You are 25 minutes from the famous Rum Point Club with water sports, restaurant bar and grill, a gift shop, and a barefoot beach with table service.

All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high water mark.

The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.

Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed

Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally.

Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency over the years during the summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival. 

Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation.

The villa was perfect for our group of 7 adults. Quiet. Well equipped kitchen and grill set up which we used daily. Plenty of room for everyone to sit and relax as all 7 or small groups. Kayaking easy to enjoy. Lots of shade spots to enjoy around the pool. Ordering from Hurley’s was seamless and having the refrigerator stocked when we arrived was perfect. Good location for morning snorkels at local beaches and not too far from Seven Mile beach area. Very responsive reservations and property staff.

In Harmony is a lovely home located in a spot (Bodden Town) that makes it fairly easy to get to all the points of interest: whether it’s Seven Mile Beach, Rum Point or the East End. The home was spacious and spotless. There were six of us and it was easy to find a quiet spot if needed, or to gather together to dine or watch tv. The beds were super comfy. There were plenty of towels (bath and beach) provided. The view was heavenly. I’d recommend water shoes for the beach as the shoreline is very rocky. A rental car is also advised.

We enjoyed our stay at In Harmony. The pros: quiet location, very clean, light and bright, plenty of towels, super comfy beds, lovely pool area, lots of seating. The cons: some dogs roamed the beach, shoreline is hard to negotiate for anyone with mobility issues (bad hip, bad knee, etc), a/c on 2nd floor inefficient and it might have been due to the filter desperately needing to be changed. Silver Thatch staff very helpful. Alastair in Jacques Scott had a lot of helpful hints to offer! We visited the Czech Inn 3 times. George and his crew are putting out good food in a fun atmosphere. The Grape Tree is not to be missed. Huge delicious portions of fish, fry bread, fritters and plantains. 5 stars.

In Harmony came as advertised. It has a lovely pool and sits directly on the beach, although a narrow one which is a little rocky (stones, not sharp shells). The house was comfortable and had all that we needed. One of the nicest things is its not as far out as the north or east end but located not far from the airport and there were stores and restaurants within a 10 min drive, but not so close to Georgetown and the commercial area, which we liked. I totally recommend this property.

Our stay was wonderful! The view of the ocean and the pool in the back were strong highlights. As noted, the beach is quite rocky, especially with the low tides while we were visiting. The kitchen was very well-furnished with supplies, and the common spaces were spacious and a joy to use. The location is a little ways away from the major action on the island, so if you are planning to be out and about be prepared for some driving.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely beachfront house. Super roomy and upscale. The upstairs master suite with a private balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean was the perfect hideaway for my brother and his wife on his 50th birthday celebration. There were two additional suites on the main floor with sliders out onto the pool deck that were equally nice. Kitchen was fully stocked with supplies and cookware. Laundry facilities on the main floor was nice. And the living room and dining room (great room concept) were very spacious with plenty of seating for the 9 people in our party. Same goes for the pool area - plenty of table seating and lounge chairs for all of us. And the infinity pool was beautiful. Bonus: while we were there apparently a turtle came up and laid her eggs right in the sand on our beach, so we got to talk to the friendly "turtle patrol" and learned some fascinating facts. By the way, this house is off the beaten tourist track - which we loved. It was in Bodden Town, very convenient to a gas station, a drug store, and great local food. The island isn't that big so it was still convenient to get to everywhere, but we loved hanging out where the locals do. I'd be remiss not to mention the friendly staff at Silver Thatch, where we picked up our complimentary items that came with the house - free snorkeling equipment for all of us, outdoor speakers, coolers, and our local discount card. And, our flight got in late so our hostess met us right at the house pretty late at night to let us in and give us the tour. Now that's service!

Beautiful home! Had a fantastic stay with our children and grand children. Pool was incredible. Lots of sargassum but we were there during the peak time for it to be present. Would be helpful to have zip lock baggies, aluminum foil, and Saran Wrap and plastic containers for leftovers at the location. Overall a great property and excellent service from all the staff at Grand Cayman Villas!

Beautiful, spacious house. Easily accommodated 8 adults. Only downside it is not centrally located and if you are not used to driving on the left side, it can take some time to get used to and you have to a rental car.

House and setting as nice as photos. Plenty of space outside to either sun or shade. Never spent time in the living area. Kitchen well equipped but surprised that glass vs limited plastic glassware. We did not swim much due to rocks. We were enchanted with Grand Cayman and look forward to a return visit.

Pool shoes are a must in the water due to corals, shellfish, etc. Guests kayak and swim there all the time.

All in all, I have to say, the amenities are great, the equipment in the kitchen is great, the bbq is great…really intuitive place and very lovely. The toiletries are a super nice touch. Villa Cleaning & Sanitation

All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.

Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.

Getting Around

A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town and Seven Mile Beach. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island. 

For rental cars, we recommend Avis, Marshalls, or Hertz.
