Beach Notes
The beach behind the Kaibo Condo complex is pure barefoot sand. Facing the sound, the waters here are clear and calm. There are no reefs here to snorkel, nor is the sea bottom sandy.
All beaches are technically public and there are some nicer beaches nearby open for your use.
For barefoot swimming and snorkeling, we recommend walking up the street to Gardens of the Kai, or Rum Point Beach (a 2-minute drive, or 10-minute walk away). Not only are the beaches there swimmable, but Rum Point Beach also offers a bar and grill, lounge chaises, and a variety of water sports activities to keep you active.

All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high water mark.
The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.
Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally.
Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency over the years during the summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival.
Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation.

Loved our stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kaibo Dreams. The condo itself was perfect and had everything we needed. Some of the things we loved about our stay: super easy access to the pool, sitting out on the quiet little beach in the evenings, sitting out on the screened in back porch and watching the boats come in and out of the small dock nearby, eating at the amazing bar and restaurant that was less than a 1 minute walk away, close proximity to starfish point (we walked!) and other nearby rum point activities. We also really appreciated the free snorkel gear that we were able to pick up from the main rental office a few miles away. Everything was just amazing and we would most definitely return! Highly recommend!

Very Satisfied
We had already rented a condo two years ago in this same residence, well located, quiet, enchanting setting, pleasant and maintained pool, relaxing beach, but limited swimming in this shallow lagoon with starfish as a bonus, close to Kaibo restaurant and 20 minutes walk from Rum Point. For swimming in the sea Starsfish point in the morning is a must only 5 minutes away. The ballet of the boats docking on the Kaibo dock is not an inconvenience and gives life. The taxi boat provides access to the other part of the island (Camana Bay). Our manager Chloe showed up to make sure everything was okay. We are very satisfied with Grand Cayman Villas.
Perfect place
We really enjoyed this perfect and relaxing setting! It was nice and quiet and well away from all the craziness of seven mile beach yet near to many snorkeling spots for quick trips. Thank you!
Amazingly relaxing
Loved it here! Condo was great, had pretty much everything we needed and the patio with the water view was our favorite spot. Loved the pool and how quiet and relaxing it was. Only downside was the leaf blower machines in the morning being super noisy, but I think they only come once a week. Everything else was spectacular. Would love to come back. This side of the island is the place to be if you want serenity away from the crowds!
Definitely Recommend This Beautiful Spot
This condo is absolutely gorgeous, clean and the view from the lanai is spectacular. Starfish hang out in the water in front of the condo. I would definitely recommend this beautiful spot.
Our Favorite Part of the Island
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this condo. The coffee shop nearby was great to stop in every morning. We loved walking to Starfish Point and Rum Point on a daily basis. This is our favorite part of the island. A lot quieter with some great snorkeling at Rum Point. Many restaurants within drivable distance.
Our New Favorite Island Place
Kaibo is a great place to stay away from the multitudes. Kaibo Dreams is a great 1BR condo to enjoy the entirety of The area. The management company and their staff at check in were so nice! Ms. Chloe the property manager was very nice, helpful and very responsive. We loved our entire experience with them in our new favorite island place!
Great Location, Very Peaceful
Great location, very peaceful, which is what we were after. And a super bar/restaurant steps away. Would recommend that you stock up when you land, at Hurleys supermarket as it is a bit of a drive. You can get trips direct from the dock at Kaibo.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kaibo Dreams! The property and Villa were clean and comfortable. We appreciated the amenities and useable items such as washer/dryer, dishwasher, extra blankets/towels, air conditioning, and cook ware/utencils. The screened in porch was a great place to have meals. This unit is on the second floor and you enter it street-side. We loved having the beach so close and we enjoyed being able to use the lounge chairs all day. There are lots of things to do on the island including snorkeling, crystal caves tour, the botanic gardens, starfish point, stingray city, and many restaurants. Definitely visit 7 mile beach or a beach on that side of the island for the clearest water you\'ve ever seen! We rented a car which I highly recommend. Do plan to have some sort of GPS (on phone) because navigating without it was tough. We really enjoyed our stay and can\'t wait to go back!
Lovely Villa Right on the Beach
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kaibo Dreams! The property and Villa were clean and comfortable. We appreciated the amenities and useable items such as washer/dryer, dishwasher, extra blankets/towels, and cook ware. The screened in porch was a great place to have meals. We loved being able to walk right out onto the beach. There were lots of things to do on the island including the crystal caves tour, botanic gardens, 7 mile beach, turtle center, and snorkeling. We booked the snorkeling tour to Stingray City through White Sands which was easily our favorite part of the trip. The staff were very friendly and the property manager, Chloe, even brought us a rum cake as a honeymoon gift. We can't wait to go back!!
Postcard vacation!
It was wonderful to feel as if we were vacationing in a postcard! The view of water, sand and sunsets was lovely. Many days during our one week stay we had the beach all to ourselves, from morning coffee to late afternoon cocktails. The water isn\'t so good for wading unless you have water shoes. Shells and small rocks till you\'re about 5 or 10 feet in. Snorkeling isn\'t great, but you\'ll see a lot of colorful starfish. Swimming, kayaking and floating is terrific. A very short walk to the morning coffee shop or the Kaibo Yacht Club bar and restaurant. One evening we could hear the music at the yacht club from the condo porch, but it was pretty quiet inside our unit. Tuesday morning from about 730 till 930 they cleaned the beach with leaf blowers, but otherwise it was a perfectly quiet week.....just what we were looking for. Starfish Point is only a 10 minute walk, but we saw so many starfish on our own beach (which was nicer than Starfish Point) that it really wasn\'t worth the walk. Rum Point is about a half hour walk. Chisolms Grocery is a 10 minute drive. Much higher prices than Fosters, but very convenient and a fair selection. The water taxi to Cabana Beach ($25 round trip booked on the Cayman Ferry app) leaves directly from Kaibo dock and is a nice shopping and dining excursion, plus an opportunity to pick up groceries at Fosters. Good prices and fabulous selection there. They even have some water toys. (Innertubes for $17) You\'ll want a car for restaurants (other than the yacht club) or for excursions to the botanical gardens, Crystal Cave, etc. There are bioluminescent and stingray excursions directly from Kaibo dock. Kaibo was so much calmer and fewer people than Seven Mile and other beaches. But if you\'re looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place for you!

The unit was immediately beside Kaibo yacht club, which is very convenient. It was neat and tidy, and had all of the amenities that you would ever need on vacation.
Honeymoon!
What a great place to stay on our honeymoon! We chose the quiet side of the island, relaxing and lovely. Owner was responsive and friendly, brought us flowers, rental company supplied snorkel gear, it was perfect,
Exactly what we expected.
Perfect location, perfect vibe, perfect unit. Right on the beach with plenty of room and nice outdoor furniture, just steps from the pool in one direction, and steps from the yacht club in the other. SO glad that we chose this end of the island instead of the 7 mile beach area. No comparison! The unit was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed for our 11 day visit. The screen porch of this second-floor unit was our go-to spot for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. We made our reservation with Scott, and he made the process simple and easy. You cannot go wrong selecting Kaibo Dreams for your vacation on Grand Cayman.

Casual, comfortable stay on the quiet side of the island in a clean and cute condo on the beach. Walk to Starfish Point, wander over to Kaibo beachfront restaurant next door for dinner. Owner is friendly and responsive and Silver Thatch is communicative and helpful. Loved our stay here!
Perfect
The standard of what to expect was set when we stopped in at the Silver Thatch for our welcome package and the answers to our questions. A great way to begin our acclamation to the island. The villa itself was exactly as described. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. The location, right on the quiet beach was perfect. After a quick visit to 7 mile beach, we knew we made the right decision by settling in at Kaibo.

Wonderful vacation spot!
Kaibo Dreams had everything we needed for a peaceful and restful vacation. Beautiful decor and it was as if we were in a deserted island. Starfish were plentiful in the waters beyond the palm trees.

This villa was perfect! A beautiful beach for us alone, all the equipments we need (and more like the snorkeling equipment), an excellent host and it was very clean. Seriously, we don’t know what can be ask to make this place a better experience. Good job to all the team! ??
Rest and Relaxation
Lovely place to stay in a quiet, upscale part of cayman. We felt like we were on a private island!! The condo had everything we needed and the pool was absolutely wonderful. They also delivered a pack and play when we realized we drove way past the place to pick it up! We were so grateful for that. If you’re looking for rest and relaxation this is 100% the place for you. Looking forward to coming back when rum point opens!!!

Spectacular
Kaibo Dreams is a spectacular place to stay. The condo is even better than the pictures captured. The beach and pool areas provide a great spot to enjoy the sun and it is right next door to a great beach bar and restaurant. We can’t wait to come back!!
Tranquility at its best!
Kaibo Dreams was everything we had pictured. Steps from the crystal clear water and the view of starfish in the water from the condo lanai. Location near a friendly bar and yacht club accessible walking from our private secluded beach (perfect). Sunsets at the end of the short road at star fish beach. The condo was very clean and updated. All the essentials were here for a pleasant stay. Thank you and we would love to come back to this area in the future!
For our Wedding
We booked this spot for our wedding at Kaibo and it was perfect - from the layout, location, amenities and being fully stocked with everything we need it was great to have a full apartment for the value. Would highly recommend!

Definitely made of Dreams!
We stayed at Kaibo Dreams for a week and it was absolutely incredible. The peacefulness of the area, the gorgeous views, and the activity of the yacht club next door all contributed to our favourite place in the world veranda that we sat on while we were not out on the beaches. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils, and it was great to have use of the washer and dryer. The bed was super comfortable. Bathroom newly renovated. We loved being so close to the Kaibo coffee shop. In short, we had an amazing week! Thank you so much! We will definitely be returning!

Everything We Needed
Kaibo Dreamswas a great spot for our home base. The condo was clean, quiet and equipped with everything we needed and wanted. We able to cook many meals at the condo. The pool and hot tub were nice to enjoy. The beach outside the condos is very enjoyable with plenty of sun and shade to meet your needs. We really enjoyed our stay at this location.

Everything we Needed
Our trip was rescheduled 4 times due to the pandemic and the staff kept in touch with us for 2 years until we could get there. Incredible! We always knew the situation on the island and received excellent guidance and advice. When we finally arrived, we were greeted by Chloe who is a delight! The apartment had everything we needed and it was a blissful and easy stay.
A peace of paradise
Loved this little one-bedroom condo on the second floor overlooking a beautiful beach and bay. Very quiet and peaceful, with a coffee shop and restaurant just steps away. Management handled issues with remodelling noise from the next-door condo very fairly and speedily. If you're looking for waves and surf, this is not the spot on the beach for you, but if you want a beautiful setting framed with palm trees and gentle water, look no further!

Kaibo Dreams
We enjoyed our stay at Kaibo Dreams from January 8 to February 25. It’s access to the beach, water and swimming pool was great. The view from the screened in porch was lovely and we spent a great amount of time there taking in the boating activities and the beautiful surroundings. It was also handy to have the Kaibo restaurant next to the complex.
Chloe Campbell, our property manager was very friendly, accommodating and eager to make our vacation pleasant from the beginning to the end. She was always available….. just a phone call away!
Our communication with Grand Cayman Villas and Condos/Silver Thatch was greatly appreciated before and after our arrival through emails, phone calls and direct contact.

Enjoyed the stay
The unit was clean and on the second level. Some of the web ad photos were not of the unit we thought we were renting. The beach was exactly as represented in the photos. The building was mostly empty so it was quiet. BUT - you might want to plan on being away from the unit on Sat. night. The nearby bar/restaurant plays music at their top volume which I found quite disturbing. It was quiet on other nights. It is quite a long drive to the west side of the island (Seven Mile Beach area) and there sure is a traffic jam back-up during rush hour(s). So plan an extra 20 min. + driving time during rush hour. We liked the quiet beach and facility without tons of people. Overall great place to stay for the money. - Check with your own car insurance company before arriving to see if you are covered in the Caymans. The car rental we used told us we were not and we signed up for their very expensive insurance - only to find out on Monday that my car insurance did cover us while in the Caymans.
Kaibo Dreams!!!
Great space away from the hustle and bustle of Georgetown. Being next to Kaibo Beach restaurant was very convenient. We could literally walk 50 feet along the beach to get drinks, dinner or coffee. Bonus: the property management company provided free chairs and a cooler for our stay.
Outstanding!
This place is perfect for a two person getaway. The condo is clean and has all the amenities you need. There is a coffee shop about 100 yards away and a highly rated restaurant right beside it. Close to Rum Pointe also.
Kaibo dreams was perfect for my wife and I. The views were great and close to enough to keep you there. Was really outstanding.

Located on a quiet area of the island. Was able to relax, which was exactly what we were looking for on this trip. The weather was perfect—mid to high 80s, sunny and breezy.

Villa Cleaning & Sanitation
All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.
Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.

Getting Around
A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town and Seven Mile Beach. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island.
For rental cars, we recommend Budget Cayman, Avis, or Marshalls.
